How to Make an Herbal Tea Scalp Toner


Having a healthy scalp can help maintain the strength of your hair. By using common products found at your grocery store, you can be on your way to having a great head of hair. This tea helps to calm the scalp, relieve itching and increase circulation.

Ingredients
  • 1 green teabag
  • 1 peppermint teabag
  • Ground sage
  • Dried rosemary
  • 2-3 bay leaves, dried
  • Hot water
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
Step
1. In a steel or glass bowl, place one green teabag and one peppermint teabag.

2. Add a generous pinch of ground sage, one pinch of dried rosemary, and 2 to 3 bay leaves (dried).

3. Add 2 cups of hot water. Allow everything to steep for 10 to 15 minutes. Let cool.

4. Strain the liquid into bottle. you may have to strain in a fine mesh strainer twice to get all the dried herbs out. Add the tablespoon of vinegar to help the tea stay fresh. Refrigerate.
  • You may place some in a mini spray bottle. It makes it easier to spray onto scalp.
5. Use as needed. Apply to your scalp and hair to reduce any itching and to calm the area. If you massage the tea in with your fingertips, the massaging motion will also assist in improving circulation around the scalp area for a time.
